A huge shout out to The Broken Barrel. My company hired them to do a catering event and they brought it. The only thing we had to do was show up and eat. The food was amazing, they brought both the grill and the smoker. We wanted for nothing. The owners Rebecca and Kevin were outstanding and their children rocked it. If you ever have an event go to them you will get great food, great service and be able to actually enjoy your event because they take care of every last detail. We also had a few vegan/vegetarians and the black bean vegan burger was a success. I cannot say enough about this place. We will be using them for future events.

Excellent Smoked Wings and Great Happy Hour Spot Stopped by Broken Barrel Tavern at Palm Bay Road and Babcock and had a great experience. Service was prompt and friendly, and the happy hour specials made it an even better value. I ordered the wing basket with 8 smoked wings and onion petals. The onion petals were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the spicy remoulade sauce. For the wings, I tried both the Carolina Vinegar and the Hot Garlic flavors. The smoked wings themselves were outstanding, and the Hot Garlic sauce was especially memorable because it featured real garlic, which added incredible flavor. These are definitely wings I will come back for and highly recommend to anyone visiting. My partner ordered the BBQ pulled pork quesadillas with seasoned fries. The fries were more like freshly cut chips, nicely seasoned and delicious, and the quesadillas were excellent as well. Overall, Broken Barrel Tavern delivered great food, quick service, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you’re in the Melbourne area and looking for outstanding smoked wings, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back. Dark and floors so sticky I couldn’t move my chair easily.

I was recommended to try Broken Barrel by the guys over at Tires Plus. Right when I walked in I was greeted and welcomed to sit at the bar. Everything is super nice and clean! Even family friendly with kids menus. The Bartender Bryan was very funny, super knowledgeable about the drink and food specials. I ended up going with his recommendation the Brisket Quesadilla adding grilled onions and peppers. It came packed with brisket and cheese, the brisket had this amazing flavor. He also gave me a chicken wing to try and that also had a nice grilled smoky flavor to it. Thanks. I enjoyed my time here at Broken Barrel. I'll definitely be back to try the ribs next time!

Stopped by the Broken Barrel in Palm Bay and overall had a good experience. The beans had an interesting flavor at first — it took a couple bites to get used to the “choir” (char/smoked) taste, but once it kicked in, you could really smell and taste the smoky depth. Definitely unique and worth trying. I ordered the turkey sandwich, and the quality of the turkey itself was great — you can really taste the smoked flavor. I do wish there had been a bit more turkey on the sandwich, and maybe a different bun would elevate it even more, but the flavor was solid. Overall, good quality food with strong smoky BBQ notes. I’d go back and try a few other items on the menu next time.
